In its 7th summer in 2006, the MELL, has established itself as the ultimate summer league for the top high school, graduating high school, and current college players in the DC / Baltimore region. For Boys ages 16-22, we only select the best 200 players enrolled, 125 of which are in high school and 75 of which are graduating high school or on a collegiate roster. The MELL consistently attracts the metropolitan area's best high school rising seniors and juniors to play against each other in an intense environment where exposure to college play and improvement will be emphasized. There will be only 25 players on 8 teams, 10 games per team which includes playoffs and an All-Star game (Top 40), and an Elite Team (Top 10). Each team will have 1-2 highly qualified coaches to ensure equal playing time. The league will use certified NCAA officials. Colleges will be sent the league schedule, All-Star and Elite Team lists, and have been on hand evaluating players consistently in the past. You will enjoy it; just ask anyone who has competed in the MELL in the past!
